‘ FATHERS DAY ‘

The origin of Fathers Day is founded in the United States of America. In 1909, Mrs John Bruce Dodd, wanting to honor her own father, persuaded the Ministerial Society of Spokane, Washington, to have a special church service for all fathers.
The first public celebration was held the following year. By 1924, President Calvin Coolidge recommended a national observance, “ to establish more intimate relations between fathers and their children, and to impress upon fathers the full measure of their obligations”.
This is a day for all fathers, for all guardians, for all men who stand as a spiritual parent to another. We remember all men who give us care and guidance, protection and love.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!!!!!!!
